Whether you dream of being a rapper, singer, producer, or engineer, R.A.P. (Rhythm and Poetry) – The Art & Business of Hip-Hop will give you the tools, knowledge, and hands-on experience to build your sound, sharpen your lyrics, and create high-quality recordings. This isn’t just a class—it’s a real-world music lab where you’ll learn how to write, record, and produce like a professional. You’ll work alongside industry producers, engineers, and artists to develop your own music, build your brand, and walk away with a finished product—whether that’s a single, an EP, or a content package to promote your artistry. You’ll also get templates, cheat sheets, recording guides, and a contact list of industry professionals to help you stay on track after the course ends. What You’ll Learn: How to write better verses, hooks, and full songs that connect with your audience. How to record yourself and others with industry-level techniques. How to produce beats and structure songs for professional sound quality. How to mix and master your tracks for streaming and radio play. How to build a brand and market your music online. How to network with producers, engineers, and other artists to grow your career. Course Schedule: 4:00 - 5:00 PM | Group Work & Discussion – Lyric breakdowns, deep dives into hip-hop’s evolution, industry talk, and guest speakers. 5:00 - 5:40 PM | Writing Challenge – Freestyle drills, storytelling exercises, and structured songwriting sessions. 6:00 - 8:00 PM | Lab (Recording, Filming, Production) – Hands-on recording sessions, beat-making, mixing, and performance coaching.
